Kate Mitchell

Kate Mitchell is a graduate of the Maritime Conservatory’s Teacher Training Program and has been dancing for 18 years, with a focus on Ballet and National Character. She is an Associate Member of the Canadian Dance Teachers’ Association, Ballet Division. She has also been acting as the Conservatory’s costume mistress and has recently attended professional dance costume construction workshops in New York City and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Costume Studies at Dalhousie University. Kate also holds a Bachelor of Design degree from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.
