Maritime Conservatory of Performing ArtsLocated in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Canada's beautiful Atlantic coast, the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts has been providing the finest performing arts education for children and adults since 1887. Formerly known as the Maritime Conservatory of Music, the MCPA changed its name in 1998 to more accurately reflect the breadth of its programs. These programs include instrumental music and theory, voice, Kindermusik, a variety of groups and ensembles and the premier dance school on the east coast (ballet, jazz, character, teacher training).
