This is a pre-professional performance ensemble established to provide an opportunity for young dancers age 15 and up to present classically-based repertoire. As well as learning traditional repertoire, exciting choreographers are invited to set original pieces for COBA to perform. Admission into the Conservatory Ballet Ensemble is by audition only.
SOUVENIR FOLK-DANCE ENSEMBLE
A folk ensemble presenting the dances of Eastern Europe. This troupe has performed to rave reviews for its energy and polished presentation throughout Nova Scotia.

JUNIOR STRING ORCHESTRA
Students learn basics of ensemble playing with conductor: intonation, rhythm, teamwork and other skills. Playing alongside other instruments helps members discover the joy in music and builds confidence. The ability to read music is a benefit but not necessary. There will be several performances throughout the year.

Develops the ideas learned in the Junior Orchestra, progressing to more challenging repertoire. There will be several performances throughout the year. Auditions and placements are at the discretion of the conductor.

THE CONSERVATORY CHAMBER ORCHESTRA
