Dr. Susan Boddie


Soprano, PhD in Education and Music, University of Calgary; MM, Manhattan School of Music, New York; BM, New England Conservatory of Music, Boston; Certificate in Spanish Studies, Dominé Institute, Madrid; Music Faculties of Acadia, Dalhousie, Mount Saint Vincent and St. Francis Xavier Universities.

I, (Dr. Susan Boddie) am a passionate and enthusiastic teacher, comfortable teaching all genres of music including opera, oratorio, art song, and musical theatre, and contemporary to all ages and levels. I will aid you in RCM exam preparation, music festival competitions, audition preparation and will coach you on current roles. In addition to teaching I am a frequent soloist in recital, with orchestra, and as a musical theatre performer. I am an adjudicator for music festivals and the Northeast region of NATS and am a voice examiner. As well, I am a published researcher in the fields of vocal pedagogy and educational philosophy.
