As a professional musician, she has sung and played violin on her three CDs and performed with her own group as well as her youth performance groups in festivals, concerts, cruise ships and conferences. She was the founder of the youth performing group the Fiddlestickers and presently the newly formed Nova Scotia Youth Ambassadors.
Moving to Halifax in 2012, her dedication to creating the NSSE as a large learning supportive community has been her passion. Christy brings extensive knowledge and experience to a quickly growing Suzuki program in Halifax. She and her excellent team of Suzuki teachers has developed a program with a high standard of technique and playing level at the youngest ages.
