Jennifer Publicover is a multi-genre performer on the modern orchestral flute, the Irish wooden flute, and the Baroque flute, as well as a teacher, arranger, and composer. She directs the Traditional Music Ensemble and Baroque Ensemble at the Maritime Conservatory. Jennifer is a member of the neo-traditional trio Papilio, whose debut album was nominated for a 2014 East Coast Music Award and a Music Nova Scotia Award; they are releasing their second album this year. She has experience as a classical orchestral freelancer with such groups as Symphony Nova Scotia, the Stadacona Band, and the Charlottetown Festival Orchestra, as well as decades of teaching experience.
