He has taught private piano lessons in English and French for several years, including with the Montreal Heart of the City Piano program, which provides lessons to at-risk children in elementary schools. In 2012, he launched Leaf Music, Atlantic Canada’s first classical recording label and he has worked with some of the top classical musicians in Canada.
He has also lent his skills to TV shows including The Nature of Things, Trailer Park Boys and This Hour Has 22 Minutes. Following the completion of music degrees at McGill University, he moved to Halifax with his wife Carrie, who is also a music teacher.
