MARITIME CONSERVATORY SCHOOL OF DANCE

Children's Dance Classes

Building a lifelong love of music and dance,
right here in the heart of Halifax.

Our children’s dance classes include Early Childhood Movement (ECMP) and Junior Movement (JUMP) programs are specifically designed for boys and girls between the ages of three and five years old. We also offer Parent and Tot classes for 2 year olds.

These programs are developed to give your child physical and emotional confidence that can be carried with them as they grow. The curriculum combines your child’s natural love of movement, music and imaginative play with their physical, social and cognitive make-up. These classes introduce important kinesthetic patterns, a basic understanding of human anatomy, and promote social and emotional skills, language, early mathematics, creativity, and self-expression.
