Since 1947 the Maritime Conservatory School of Dance has been providing exceptional dance classes with a focus on classical ballet in both our General and Professional programs. We offer opportunities for a variety of students, from those just beginning their dance training through aspiring professionals. Our curriculum includes a unique folk dance program and classes in a variety of dance styles including including breakdance, modern, jazz, tap, composition, and ballroom.

The School of Dance at the Maritime Conservatory also offers a highly respected post-secondary Teacher Training Diploma Program. The Conservatory is frequently sent teaching opportunities and employment listings from schools around the world.

We also offer a full time Professional Ballet Program, designed for dancers aged 12-17 years looking to explore a professional career in dance.
