Adult Dance Classes

Part of the general division, these classes will focus on basic movement vocabulary, co-ordination, posture and alignment within each dance form.

Strengthen your body, focus your mind, and explore creativity and self-expression in our adult dance classes. Classes will focus on basic movement vocabulary, coordination, posture and alignment within each dance form. Our older adult level classes are designed specifically for ages 50+ honouring each individual’s possibilities and range of motion. All adult dance classes are one hour in length.

Absolute Beginner Ballet

This level is an introductory course to ballet. It is suitable for adults with no previous, or limited, training in dance. This course provides a strong foundation in ballet terminology and technique. It is never too late to learn!

Adult Beginner Ballet Level 2

Building on the principles from the Absolute Beginner Ballet class, this introductory course is suitable for adults with limited experience in ballet. This course further develops a foundation in ballet terminology and technique

Adult Intermediate Ballet

This course is designed for dancers with 2-3 years of dance training. Students should have a good understanding of basic ballet technique. As a continuation from the Adult Beginner Ballet course, enchainments and more complex sequences will be introduced. Come and join us to expand your ballet basics!

Advanced Ballet

A class for experienced dancers looking to stay in shape and have fun! Exercises will explore more complex enchainments and challenge students to develop a stronger understanding of technique, musicality and performance.

Adult Ballet 50+ - Let's Move

A course designed not just for love for dance but also to build strength, balance and coordination. No previous experience required. Come to learn a wide range of movement vocabulary while exploring the artistry and music of ballet class. 

Adult Modern - Let’s Move

Challenge your mind and body… you may be surprised at what your body can do!  Rhythm is an integral component of this movement technique that helps you move freely through space.

Ballet Barre Class

A graceful way to increase and maintain flexibility, strength, balance, and alignment. Ballet uses a well tested technique that challenges the mind and the body.

Silver Swans®

Silver Swans® classes have been specifically designed for the over-55s, but whatever your age, if you are looking for a new way to keep fit and active our ballet classes will put a spring in your step. Whether you’ve never danced before or want to get back into the swing of it, our classes have something for everyone.

Tap Dance

Tap dance can be adapted for any age or fitness level. Learning, practicing, and putting steps together is a great, fun way to improve rhythm, coordination, flexibility, mobility, balance and overall fitness!
