Our children’s dance classes include Early Childhood Movement (ECMP) and Junior Movement (JUMP) programs are specifically designed for boys and girls between the ages of three and five years old. These programs are developed to give your child physical and emotional confidence that can be carried with them as they grow. The curriculum combines your child’s natural love of movement, music and imaginative play with their physical, social and cognitive make-up. These classes introduce important kinesthetic patterns, a basic understanding of human anatomy, and promote social and emotional skills, language, early mathematics, creativity, and self-expression.
Children aged three years will explore the joy of movement in a stimulating environment focused on the development of co-ordination, anatomy and body awareness, rhythm, creativity, group interaction, and self-expression. Our highly qualified and caring instructors will guide your child as they take their first steps into a structured activity without a parent or caregiver. (Students must be three years old by December 31st to register.)
ECMP classes meet once a week for 32 weeks, September – May. All classes are 45 minutes in length. The year concludes with an in-house performance.
