Dancing with Pride
Partner Dancing 101: Workshop Series

Tuesday, June 9, 16, 23, 30, 2026 (4 weeks)

For those with little to no dance experience! Join us for an introductory ballroom dancing series in a safe space that celebrates all bodies, abilities and identities. This class will include basic steps and partnering to a mix of music across genres and styles. No partner required! You may lead or follow in this class – whichever role makes you feel the most comfortable. Dress in a way that allows you to move freely.

Schedule: each week of this workshop series will focus on a new dance/style (Hustle, Swing, Foxtrot, Salsa) – you may drop-in as best suits your schedule, or join us for all 4 weeks! Tuesdays in June 8-9pm

Instructor: Cole Richardson

Cost: No advanced registration is required. Please make a donation to a LGBTQIA+ charity/organization of your choice (recommended $15 per class) or bring a cash donation to be made at the door – all proceeds collected will go to The Youth Project

Music Skills for Choral Singing
two-day workshop

Day 1 – August 6, 2026 | 6 – 9pm

Day 2 – August 7, 2026 | 9:30am – 4pm

with Dr. Jennifer Farrell, Krista Vincent, and Greg Myra

Join three Conservatory faculty members in this two-day workshop to prepare for summer choral singing and the 2026/27 choir season. Choral singing, music skills sessions, voice lessons & more!


Thursday

6:00pm – Introductions/ meet and greet
6:15pm – Vocal warm up for healthy singing
6:45pm – Sing through/read through of choral pieces
7:30pm – Break
7:45pm – Sectionals or score reading group class, Break-out voice lessons running concurrently
8:30pm – Final full choral rehearsal; set goals for next day, More break out lessons
9:00pm – Dismissal

10:00am – Ear-training/skills session
10:30am – Sectionals and Break-out voice lessons
