Jessica LaRonde – BMus / CMT / MTA

Graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor of Music (Concentration in Music Education), Jessica later went on to complete a Certificate of Music Therapy in 2014, both from Acadia University. She has also completed the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Level 10 in piano, is a Level 1 Internship Supervisor, and served as the Continuing Education Chair for the Atlantic Association for Music Therapy (2016-2020). Jessica’s sessions are bursting with creative, thoughtful, and playful projects and games to enhance the participants’ experience. She has a passion for connection and enjoys exploring the relaxing, nurturing, and meditative elements of music with others through her practice.

Jessica has recently completed training in Music Therapy Assisted Childbirth (2022) and Prenatal Music Bonding (2022). She hopes to incorporate this new training into her future music therapy work.
